Salvation Army Cedar Crest Community CenterThe Salvation Army is a worldwide Christian organization that provides substance abuse treatment, homeless shelter, life skills classes, non-perishable food, Christmas gifts for children, domestic violence programs, emergency financial assistance (rent/mortgage/utilities), child care, after-school programs, summer day camps, computer training, senior citizens services and low-cost youth sports leagues in the Greater Dallas area.
The Salvation Army's Cedar Crest Community Center is a refuge for residents of this Southeast Dallas neighborhood. Here neighbors, both young and old, enjoy activities that address their physical, social, and spiritual needs.
A wide range of sports activities give children and youth a chance to participate in basketball and football leagues, as well as cheerleading. This center is home to a satellite Larry North Fitness Center complete with first-rate workout equipment donated by Larry North.

Little Heroes BaseballThe Todd Wagner Foundation is a founding and Hall of Fame sponsor of the Little Heroes Baseball Field Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization whose mission has been to create a first-class baseball facility and sports program for inner-city youth.
Little Heroes Baseball partnered with the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department to build the Whataburger Little Heroes Baseball Park at Dallas' historic Pike Park. Funded entirely with private funding, the $1 million baseball diamond and facilities opened March 2005. It features an ivy-covered outfield wall, recessed dugouts, raised pitching mounds and covered stadium seating. Organizers initially recruited players to play in four leagues, beginning at the T-ball level and up. Today, the organization operates dozens of teams. Little Heroes Baseball Foundation built the ballpark and will operate it for at least the next 20 years.

Pop Warner FootballPop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) is a non-profit organization that provides youth football programs for participants in 42 states. Consisting of approximately 400,000 young people ranging from ages 5 to 16 years old, PWLS is the largest youth football, cheer and dance program in the United States.
Pop Warner was founded in 1929, continues to grow and serves as the only youth football, cheerleading & dance organization that requires its participants to maintain academic standards in order to participate. Pop Warner's commitment to academics is what separates the program from other youth sports around the world.
As the only national youth sports organization that requires scholastic aptitude to participate, Pop Warner is committed to developing America's young people on the field and off. Each year Pop Warner continues to expand its efforts in team and activity participation, as well as visibility and outreach in the community.
Since 1929, the Pop Warner Programs Philosophy has been that athletics and scholastics go hand in hand. At every level, Pop Warner programs seek to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn not only the fundamentals of football, cheerleading, and dance but also the importance of education in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound character while having a good time.

North Texas Lacrosse AssociationThe purpose of the NTLA is to unify, promote, develop, and equally represent men’s and women’s lacrosse in North Texas, operating in compliance with the approved requirements and guidelines of US Lacrosse.
The goals of the organization shall be to:
(a) Increase the number of qualified coaches, officials, players and administrators by recruiting and assisting the constituent groups with recruiting and training efforts.
(b) Collect, develop, and disseminate lacrosse instructional materials to all constituent groups.
(c) Maintain the integrity of the game of lacrosse and promote sportsmanship.
